To follow is a guide to the services which I offer. I am more than happy to alternate options to suit your needs or budget, so don't feel restricted to any one option. They are designed to give you an idea of the processess involved.

Option 1: Interior Design Consultation

This option is designed with the requirements of clients who do not require the complete interior design service and do not require visual samples of a design scheme. This service offers you the option to meet with me and discuss all aspects of your interior design needs, from colour, soft furnishings and lighting to items of furniture. The consultation will also include advice on maximising space and light, in addition to the positive aspects which your home already possesses.

Option 2: Colour & Design consultation

This option is designed with the requirements of clients who do not require the complete interior design service, yet prefer the idea of seeing physical examples of fabrics, colours samples, design layouts etc. This option consists of two stages.

Stage 1

I will visit the property in question to discuss the overall effect which you are looking for, as well as your likes and dislikes, after which I will do an on-site survey of the room/rooms in question, taking photographs and measurements and specifications as required.

Stage 2

I will do a follow up call back, at which stage I will do a presentation for you, consisting of mood boards, with suggested design schemes and samples of fabrics, colour swatches, floor coverings etc, depending upon your requirements. I will also provide a list of recommended contacts, along with approximate prices for items such as curtains/blinds, etc.

Option 3: Colour consultation & Project Management

Each project undertaken is carried out in a series of agreed phases. These phases may vary according to your specific requirements and are tailored to suit each project.

The typical design programme is as follows:

Introduction…….

I will call to your home/office, depending upon the location, to discuss Eve Design and the services offered. If you should wish to commission Eve Design for the project, the following steps will take place.

    Brief

Phase 1.

Analysis and Briefing

As the brief provides the foundation for all ensuing work, before designing begins, the client and I, the designer, must fully understand and agree upon the background and objectives for the project. A detailed analysis and a visual survey of the existing design will be carried out, culminating in the design brief.

Design

Phase 2.

Colour Consultation and Concept Design

Concept designs are developed and a number of options which meet the agreed criteria for the project are presented for discussion as mood boards. (mood boards remain the property of Eve Design.

Phase 3.

Design Development and Costing

Current and alternative proposals are formulated and developed further into a more detailed and cost analysed form. Initial contact is made with the relevant manufacturers and suppliers and prices are agreed upon. A final brief, including costs is prepared in writing and signed by the client and designer as a formal confirmation of what services are to be carried out.

     Project Management

Phase 4.

Design Scheduling and Detailing

The designer carries out all of the necessary work for the scheduling of the contractors and suppliers and the preparation for the commencement of the design project.

Phase 5.

Implementation

I can either inspect the implementation of the design (charged per call out) or act as a project manager, supervising the construction and controlling costs, budgets, scheduling and deliveries.

Phase 6.

Procurement

Should you wish Eve Design to source and purchase items which are relevant to the design project, this can be arranged at a cost per hour, plus expenses incurred ( e.g travel expenses)
